About Coach

Hi friends! My name is Savannah Burrus and I am happy to be your in-house physical therapist here at CrossFit Firepit! I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2016 and then received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2019 from Winston Salem State. I started my career in orthopedics, focusing on sport rehab and I now specialize in treating pelvic floor dysfunction. I work here in Greensboro at a Urology office and also have the pleasure of helping clients right here in the FirePit! I have been a huge advocate for health and wellness my whole life, playing multiple sports growing up and then working as a personal trainer after college, but once I fulfilled my dream of becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I knew I had the opportunity to be a powerful and positive influence on people in my community. I went on to receive specific mentoring and training that allows me to practice in a specialized setting, helping both males and females with a variety of pelvic floor conditions (helping women pre and postpartum, treating bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain, hip dysfunction, and more!). When I’m not at work, you can usually find me at CrossFit, spending time with my husband or our dog child Tobias. For Scheduling or contact: * Email: * Phone: (336) 870-6621
